The Great Escape kicks off our summer season with hundreds of artists spread over a vast number of venues throughout Brighton, including the iconic beachfront venue and Jubilee Street. And new for 2019, we are excited excited to be adding The Soundcrash Funk & Soul Weekender to the list. Following two sold-out years, the event is moving to its brand new location on the iconic Brighton Beach.

We are looking for street food traders to provide something special for those in attendance. Captivating menus and glorious food for the masses.

Please note we require traders at the beach venue to commit to both The Great Escape and The Funk & Soul Weekender.

Please note, we are only looking for street food Traders. We do not manage the bar or retail traders for this event.

THE BEACH
Load in:
Tuesday 7th May, 6pm 
TGE Show Dates: Wednesday 8th 4pm - 11pm Thursday 9th - Saturday 11th May 12pm -11pm
SITE CLOSED Sunday 12th - Thursday 16th May - unit to be left onsite throughout, 24hr security is provided. Traders must commit for both weekends to be successful.
F&S Show Dates:
Friday 17th- Sunday 19th May 11am – 11pm;
Load out: Sunday 19th post show.

JUBILEE STREET
Load in Date:
Wednesday 8th May 2pm
Trading Dates: Thursday 9th - Friday 10th 11am – 11pm; Saturday 11th May 11am - 10:30pm
Load out: Saturday 11th May (post show)

Fees

Fees are commission-based (on net sales) with a non-refundable minimum fee based on pitch size, location and output.

All traders will be invoiced a non-refundable minimum fee + VAT payable in advance that will be deducted from the final licence fee owed. This minimum fee + VAT amount is dependent on the offering of the individual trader and will be confirmed directly by the Eat Me Drink Me team.

Electricity fee is chargeable. This will be confirmed to you in your processing email.

If you would like to apply for a pitch at this event, please complete the application form below - you will need to include your unique trader code to complete your application. 

Once we have received the form, we will send you a unique email address to send your relevant documentation, diagram of your set up and images to - we will not be able to consider your application without this information.

If your application is successful we will contact you via email to confirm the booking within two months of the application closing date.  We will also supply you with terms for payment of the non-refundable minimum fee + VAT, the power fee, cancellation fees and our standard terms and conditions, which must be signed by you in order to trade with us.  There may also be a specific agreement supplied for certain events and/or venues - any terms or conditions listed in this document will supersede the standard Eat Me Drink Me ones.

Important notes to consider: Upon your application being processed, you will be asked to provide a detailed diagram of your set up. This will need to include all measurements in metres, access points and outline your front of house and back of house areas. Please have this ready in preparation. Please note there is no back of house space in the Jubilee Street location, and back-of-house space is limited at The Beach. Please note, if you are trading from a vehicle, once it is sited by the Eat Me Drink Me team it cannot be moved for any reason. There is no camping on site. There is no camping onsite.
